Gregory Goodrich, ARM, CPCU
Greg has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry and has served in a variety of operational and strategic roles. His background includes experience in the commercial insurance brokerage industry working with large international brokerage firms, and in medical malpractice insurance programs for hospitals and physicians.
Greg currently serves as the senior director of risk finance for Stanford University Medical Center and is responsible for managing and coordinating the system-wide corporate property, general liability, executive liability, and professional liability insurance program. Greg also manages the day to day operations of Stanford University Medical Indemnity and Trust (SUMIT), the wholly owned captive insurance company of the Stanford University Medical Center. Before coming to Stanford he was the manager of insurance services for University Hospitals Health System Inc. in Cleveland.
Greg graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a management major. He holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation from the American Institute for Property and Liability Underwriters and an Associate in Risk Management designation from the Insurance Institute of America.
